Pasadena is one of more than 45 chapters nationwide. Our chapter was established in 1933 by 15 women. Now, more than 90 years later, our membership proudly numbers nearly 400 dedicated volunteers. Located in the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California, we serve under-resourced children through our various programs: Layette program, PALS reading program, scholarships, support for parish low-income families, Christmas Stocking Fund, Easter Shoes Fund, and our United in Service program.
Our members enjoy making new friends while volunteering together to help children experiencing poverty. We are associated with Catholic parish schools and religious education programs in the San Gabriel Valley. We are blessed to have members that have participated for over 20 years. We have had many mothers and daughters or daughters-in-laws and other family members who have joined our non-profit organization. We volunteer, plan fundraising events, pray together, and find new friends. We offer various types of social gatherings in addition to volunteer work. Many members have expressed that it is a wonderful blessing to be a member of the Christ Child Society.
We welcome your interest in joining the Pasadena Chapter of the Christ Child Society.
